The best failure award

From: Randy Pausch
I award this project the "best failure" award!!

This world contained one of the more adventurous navigation schemes I've seen tried to date. I don't think it worked very well, primarily because it's a hard concept to convey to the guest, but I think it was a great idea. You also did a good thing by making it painfully obvious which objects you can "jump" to. That was a usability vs. aesthetics tradeoff that was probably the right call.

The thing we all learned here is that putting the guest onto an already moving object (the clock pendulum or fan) is a very cool effect. This has been noted before in virtual worlds, such as stepping on a merry-go-round, but your treatment was more surrealistic and seemed to work a little more vigorously.

The weak point to the world was the production values and the lack of ending; the world felt a little clunky and didn't end strongly.

Overall, however, very good work.
